Don’t Read This Book Unless…

As someone who is interested in business and finance, I’ve learned a lot over the past few years. I’ve studied the topic in a few ways. However, I haven’t read anything like this before.

Without trying to sound outrageously bold, Get Your Money Right by Emmanuel Asuquo might just be the most on point book on finances on the market. Don’t read this book unless….

Don’t Read This Book Unless You Want a Taste of Something New

One of the most alluring things about this book is that Emmanuel Asuquo uses humour to tackle the subject of money. He touches upon some heavy topics, including budgeting, debt, and pensions. Even though these are serious topics, he navigates them with the same humour you will find on his social media channels.

Finance should be taken seriously, but talking about finances does not always have to be a serious and mundane conversation. The humour and the tone which he uses in Get Your Money Right makes the content easy to digest and helps the reader to learn about money instead of it being an abstract concept that many truly fail to grasp.

Don’t Read This Book Unless You Want to Understand How Money Works

The words ‘financially free’ are whispered by every finance expert, but this dream seems to be in the distant future for many people.   This book is the gateway. It gives the reader numerous tips about moving in the direction of being ‘financially free’.

Emmanuel Asuquo is clear that what one person needs financially and professionally is not the same as others. He doesn’t aim to tell everyone they need to quit their job and start a business now. Refreshingly, he doesn’t look down on those who want to work a standard job.  Instead, he offers information for all.

Emmanuel Asuquo shares information for the person who is happy in their career journey but would like to earn more. He also shares information for the person who is bursting to start a side hustle or the person who is aspiring to be an entrepreneur.

The financial expert has written a book that helps everyone access the right information about their finances. In my opinion, this book should be included in the national curriculum because it contains fundamentals that everyone should know. Parents, read this book with your teenagers.

Don’t Read This Book Unless You Are Ready to Learn

Pensions, different types of taxes and inflation are but a few of the things the author talks about in the book. Emmanuel Asuquo also gives the reader a basic foundation on how banks use our money and the difference between positive and negative debt.

The book is filled with a wealth of information that most people who don’t work in finance or haven’t been born into a wealthy household probably won’t know.

Don’t Read This Book Unless You Want to Grow Your Money

The highlight of the book was the chapter on investing. Emmanuel Asuquo literally gives the reader a lesson of investing 101. If you already know about investing, it helps you fill in the gaps in your understanding.  If you don’t know anything about investing, you can use the chapter as a step-by-step guide into investing.

Emmanuel Asuquo shares information about how to invest, types of investments and even everyone’s favourite topic: the taxes that go along with it. This section helps the reader delve into investing regardless of whether they are looking to invest a huge sum of money or start small.

If you read Get Your Money Right, it will be clear to you that it’s been written by someone who cares about the betterment and education of others. The book is a complete guide to money. It teaches you how to spend, save and more. Don’t read this book unless you want to get your money right.
