This Book Will Get You Into the Christmas Mood

I was going to review a book that falls into the same genre as the one I reviewed last year.  That was until I heard this shocking statistic!

Around 20 percent of people from Britain…

We All Live on Animal Farm

After reading my last read, I’m starting to believe we all live on Animal Farm: a farm which begins amazingly but leads to destruction.  I read Animal Farm because I thought it would be an easy read; the book is thin and the last George Orwell book I read was a distant memory.  Although the book is largely about politics, it spoke to me about three other things too. It wasn’t an easy read but… it was worth it.

One Dollar or a Million Dollars, which would you choose?

If you had to choose between gaining one dollar or a million dollars, which would you choose?  I assume most people would choose a million.

Now I will propose a new question.  If someone asked you if your habits were worth one dollar or a million dollars, which answer would you give?

This Book Will Help You Escape from Prison

It’s strange.  As someone who has always been a history buff, I always find myself stuck between being positive about the future and being worried that we are in a perpetual cycle, repeating mistakes from the past.

Taking Root in Good Soil

To move, to transfer, to alter. Mind Shift is about doing all of these things. The book is centred around the topic of breaking down the internal limitations that gear us up for failure. As pretentious as it sounds, the content of the book genuinely helps the reader take root in good soil.

 A Christmas-Themed Roller Coaster

Picture this: it’s December, and the dating site you are on has decided to do something different for the singles.  They are offering a special Christmas deal: 12 dates in 12 different places with 12 different people.  However, instead of being able to swipe for the suitors, the suitors are chosen for you….

The Psychology of Money: Your Mind and Your Money

I can assume that each person reading this has got a slightly different relationship with money. Notice that I didn’t use the words ‘background’ or ‘history’ because after reading the book The Psychology of Money, it’s become clear to me that your mind and your money are more connected than most people think.

This might sound bizarre, but I think I’ve found a time machine.

An Interruption to My Normal Schedule
